Official Contest Rules
VIP ticket holders enjoy express access to the promotional contest; however, this does not increase the odds of winning. No purchase necessary.

1. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees, representatives, and agents (and their immediate family members and persons residing in the same household) of:
Edmonton PrideFest Association
ICE District
Lexus of Edmonton
PAL Insurance Brokers Canada Ltd.
Certain Underwriters at Lloyd’s
Any advertising or promotional agencies involved in the contest
are not eligible to participate.
Void where prohibited by law.

2. How to Enter
A. VIP Ticket Entry:
VIP ticket holders for the Edmonton Pride Festival on August 22–23, 2025, may receive one (1) entry for a chance to roll, subject to maximum contest capacity.

B. Free Entry (No Purchase Necessary – Drop-Off Only):
Any eligible person may obtain a free entry without making a purchase by:
Hand-delivering a handwritten, original essay of approximately 500 words on the theme “What Pride Means to Me and the Importance of Pride” to the Edmonton PrideFest Festival Office at Chancery Hall, between August 18 and August 21, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM daily, or on the festival site at the info booth during festival hours Friday Aug 22 5pm to 7pm, Saturday Aug 23 3pm to 5pm.
Essays must be entirely original work. If artificial intelligence (AI) or automated writing tools are detected in the submission, the entry will be disqualified.

• Essays must clearly include your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
  Upon drop-off, you will receive confirmation of your free roll attempt and instructions for participation.

• 3. Contest Dates & Location
  Dates:
  Friday, August 22, 2025 — 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
  Saturday, August 23, 2025 — 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  Location: Fan Park, ICE District, Edmonton, Alberta.
  Maximum total number of attempts during the contest: 1000

• 4. Prize
  Grand Prize: One (1) 2025 Lexus RX500 (approximate retail value $85,000 CAD).
  Limit one (1) grand prize available to be won.
  Winner is responsible for all costs not expressly covered, including but not limited to registration, licensing, insurance, and applicable taxes.

• 5. How to Win
  Contestant must roll all nine (9) dice provided by Contest Officials so that:
  All dice cross a demarcation line located a minimum of five (5) feet from the contestant, and
  All dice land with the winning face/logo up/ number 1
  Each eligible participant will have one (1) attempt only.
  All rolls must be conducted under direct supervision of Contest Officials and recorded on continuous, unedited video.
  Prize will only be awarded if the winning roll is confirmed by Contest Officials and at least one (1) independent witness.

• 6. Odds of Winning
  Odds depend on the number of eligible participants and the probability of rolling all nine dice with the winning face/logo in a single attempt.
  Statistical odds: 1 in 10,077,696 per attempt.

• 7. Verification
  Winning roll must be verified on video and in person by Contest Officials and an independent witness.
  Video must clearly capture: contestant identity, the roll, dice crossing the line, and all dice faces.
  Contest Officials’ decisions are final and binding.

• 8. General Conditions
  Prize must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions or transfers, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
  Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who tampers with the contest, violates the rules, or behaves in an unsportsmanlike manner.
  By participating, entrants grant Edmonton PrideFest Association and partners the right to use their name, likeness, and city of residence in any publicity without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
  Any attempt to deliberately undermine the contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws.

  Contest is sponsored by Edmonton PrideFest Association, and Lexus of Edmonton.
  Grand prize coverage is underwritten by Certain Underwriters at Lloyd’s through PAL Insurance Brokers Canada Ltd.
